The Futures Centre offers various per term tutoring packages for students. The price of the packages is based on the experience of the tutor you choose. Additional sessions can be purchased at the same hourly rate as the term package (seven sessions) if more sessions are needed during the term. For New Students, we offer a trial package of three sessions at the same rate as the term package.

If the package does not suit your tutoring needs, flexi sessions can be purchased.

1: Tutoring Packages and Flexi Sessions

• PLC Sydney Futures Centre offers tutoring packages for Students, consisting of a predetermined number of one-on-one tutoring sessions.
• The tutoring sessions included in the package are valid for the duration of the specified school term.
• Additional sessions can be purchased at the same hourly rate as the term package if more sessions are needed during the term.
• For New Students, we offer a trial package of three sessions at the same rate as the term package.
• If the package does not suit your tutoring needs, flexi sessions can be purchased.
• Flexi Sessions will be charged if the terms and conditions of the package are not met.

2: Rescheduling by the Student

• The Student is entitled to reschedule a tutoring session up to two times during a term without incurring an additional fee.
• If the Student wishes to reschedule a session beyond the two free changes, a fee of 33% will be payable for each subsequent rescheduled session.
• Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance by contacting the Centre, or cancellation fees will apply (please see below).
• The Futures Centre reserves the right to determine the availability of makeup sessions based on tutor availability.

3: Missed Sessions

• Any session that was purchased as part of a package and not completed within the term for which the package was purchased will not qualify for a refund.

4: Cancellation by the student

• If a student cannot attend a scheduled session, 24-hour notice will be required for non-attendance, or a cancellation fee will need to be applied. The fee will be equal to the normal hourly rate for a tutoring appointment.
• In the event of illness, email notification or call before 11.00 am on a weekday or before 7.00 am on Saturdays will be eligible for a make-up lesson.
• Online Zoom lessons can be arranged with the same notice periods specified above.
• All cancellations must be made to the Futures Centre telephonically on 02 9704 5634 /5713 or via email to "futures@plc.nsw.edu.au".

5: Cancellation by the Futures Centre

• In the event that the Futures Centre or the assigned tutor must cancel a scheduled tutoring session, the Centre will make every effort to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund may be applicable.

6: Payment and Fees

• The Student agrees to pay the full tuition fee for the tutoring package at the time of enrolment, following the Futures Centre payment policies.
• To qualify for the package rates, the package must be purchased by no later than the end of the first week of tutoring
• In the event that a rescheduling fee is applicable, the Student agrees to pay the rescheduling fee in addition to the tuition fee at the time of rescheduling.

7: Termination

• The Centre reserves the right to terminate a Student's enrolment for repeated violation of these Terms and conditions

8: Changes to Terms

• The Centre reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Student.
• By enrolling in a tutoring package with PLC Sydney Futures Centre, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

9: Expectations of Students

• A student agrees to fully commit to the tutoring program for the negotiated period of time.
• A student agrees to undertake after-hours homework, as deemed necessary, as directed by the tutor.
• Parents support the tutor(s) by enabling the student to attend each session on time.
• Parents agree to make themselves available for discussion about their children's education.
