Innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit were on full display at this year’s Open Day and Fair, as students across Years 7–11 launched their businesses in our much-loved Enterprise Alley.

Students submitted Shark Tank-style pitches to earn a place in the program before working hard behind the scenes to research their markets, develop products, build their brands and prepare for a day of trading.

From crocheted bouquets and hand-sewn dog bandanas to loaded cookies, candles, cakes and customised snacks, each venture reflected the passion, resilience and ingenuity of our students. It was especially exciting to see our younger entrepreneurs in Years 7 and 8 confidently trading alongside senior students, embracing the challenge with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Congratulations to all of our student-led businesses and entrepreneurs:

  • Stitch Happens - Emma (Year 10)
  • Scruff & Scrunch - Alexia (Year 10)
  • Aroha - Alessandra (Year 10) and Sophie (Year 7)
  • Love from Lily - Lily (Year 10)
  • Citrus Sips - Lucy and Olivia (Year 8)
  • Bake Vogue - Sara (Year 10)
  • Comfi Cakes - Serena, Leila, Juliet and Fiona (Year 11)
  • Spill the Tea - Year 10 Business Studies
  • Chip n Mix - Year 10 Business Studies
  • Loaded - Year 10 Business Studies

A special mention goes to our Year 10 Business Studies students, who baked up a storm in the Food Technology kitchens. From loaded cookies and cookie jars to bubble tea and loaded chips, their businesses were not only profitable but also supported a great cause, with a portion of proceeds donated to charity.

A special thank you to our staff, families and wider community for supporting our students throughout the day. Through experiences like these, students develop valuable real-world skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving and enterprise, while building the confidence to turn ideas into action.

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, teamwork and community spirit shown by every student involved.

And yes, the queues for cookies and loaded chips were absolutely worth it.
