Drama Workshop: Acting on Camera

An actor’s role in a film is to convey the story with emotion. With this in mind, students will learn the various techniques needed to perform for an audience on screen. Students with performing experience will thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to tell a story through a different medium over traditional theatre. They will learn the art of subtlety, eye lines and blocking for a scene in a film. Students can film their performances to show the whole family at home on the big screen
