Maths & English Workshop – Years 3 & 4

Our Holiday Maths and English Course for Year 3–4 students is designed to help children strengthen their core skills, build confidence, and return to school feeling more prepared and capable.

This engaging holiday program provides a supportive balance of revision, skill-building and new learning. Students will revisit important concepts in both English and Maths, while also being introduced to new ideas in a clear, enjoyable and age-appropriate way.

In English, students will practise spelling, strengthen their reading comprehension, explore vocabulary, and develop the foundations of storytelling and written expression. They will learn how to organise their ideas, build sentences with greater confidence, and begin creating more engaging pieces of writing.

In Maths, students will work on arithmetic, number skills, simple word problems, problem-solving strategies, and an introduction to shapes and basic geometry. Lessons are designed to help students understand not just what to do, but why it works, so they can approach schoolwork with greater confidence.

Our experienced educator will provide personalised support and encouragement throughout the course, helping each child feel successful and motivated. The lessons are interactive and carefully structured, with a mix of focused learning, practical activities and enjoyable challenges to keep students engaged.
