AM Workshop: Creative Writing Workshop for Years 5 and 6
This workshop will teach the basic fundamentals of how to successfully write and prepare effective creative work. By guiding students through basic narrative techniques, this class will guide students to effectively be able to create an original story from scratch, responding to and incorporating stimulus and a variety of genres into their work to be able to have flexibility in their storytelling ability. This class should allow the student to be able to tell complex and sophisticated stories by incorporating all of these skills into their work.

PM Workshop: Basic Poetry Course for Years 5 and 6
This workshop will introduce students to basic techniques and different forms of poetry. The class will teach how to give effective analysis when studying a poem, a demonstration of the different techniques and how to identify them and finally, the basics to creating a poem. Students should finish this course with a greater appreciation and understanding of poetry whilst being able to give detailed analysis of texts and how they are effective in this medium.
