Two workshops will be run over two days:

Day 1 Workshop: Movers and Shakers: Leaders Who Changed the World
Step into the shoes of the world’s game-changers in this inspiring holiday workshop for curious and ambitious young minds.
Students will explore the stories of entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, explorers and astronauts who turned challenges into breakthroughs. Through hands-on activities, team challenges and real-world examples, they will discover what makes a true leader — from courage and resilience to creative thinking, bold decision-making and the ability to see possibilities where others see problems.
We will explore the journeys of both male and female leaders, uncover the habits and ideas behind their success, and examine how imagination, persistence and problem-solving can create real change.
Most importantly, students will be encouraged to recognise their own potential as future movers and shakers — young people with ideas, confidence and the ability to lead, create and make a meaningful impact on the world.

Cost: $160 for each Workshop (Day 1 or Day 2)

Day 2 Workshop: Embedded Robotics: Build an Autonomous Robot
Students will apply real-world electronics and programming to build an autonomous robot from individual components. Working with microcontrollers, sensors, wiring and motor drivers, they will discover how hardware and code work together to create intelligent movement.
Through hands-on building and testing, students will program their robot to respond to its environment, control its motors and navigate obstacles. Along the way, they will develop practical skills in electronics, coding, logic, troubleshooting and engineering design.
This is an exciting workshop for students who are ready to move beyond simple robotics kits and explore the technology behind modern embedded systems.
