Day 1 Workshop:Workshop: The Ultimate Science Adventure!
Get ready to dive into the exciting physics of everyday toys, from the flight of paper airplanes to the speed of rubber band cars. This hands-on journey will have you designing, building, and testing your creations, learning about gravity, force, and motion in a thrilling, playful way.
You’ll measure distances, calculate speeds, and analyse flight paths, uncovering the secrets that make these toys soar, zoom, and roll. By the end of this adventure, you'll have a deeper understanding of the physics behind your favourite playthings.
Venue: PLC Sydney Science Laboratory 3

Workshop Duration: Day 1: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm ( 6 hours - 30 min lunch break)
Cost: $160.00 for each Workshop (Day 1 or Day 2)

Day 2 Workshop: Mockumentary Season
In this program, students will work together in groups to produce a short documentary. However, each documentary can be presented in a comedic style, alluding to a ‘mockumentary’ film. In groups, students will decide on the subject matter and put together a script. Using their own devices, they will take turns directing behind the scenes and performing in front of the camera. The students will be very excited to showcase their short films to the class for an exciting afternoon of cinema!
