Day 1 Workshop: Future Innovators: Robotics in Action – Technology & Engineering

Step into the world of intelligent machines in this fast-paced, hands-on robotics workshop! Using Micromelon robots, students will code, test, and compete as they bring their creations to life through challenges inspired by real-world problem-solving.

Children will:

  • Build Coding Skills – learn the basics of programming by giving robots clear instructions.
  • Apply Engineering Concepts – see how mechanics, sensors, and design come together in action.
  • Develop Problem-Solving & Teamwork – work collaboratively to create strategies and refine solutions.
  • Experience Innovation in Action – explore how robotics connects to the future world they will grow up in.

Activities may include Sumo Wrestling, Robot Soccer, Safari Exploration, and AI Sorting Challenges, each designed to combine play, creativity, and purposeful learning.

The day begins with an inspiring TEDx-style talk to spark curiosity and ends with a forward-looking glimpse into how robotics is shaping our future.

This program blends fun, competition, and creativity with the essential 21st-century skills of coding, engineering, and critical thinking—empowering children to see themselves as the innovators of tomorrow.

Through team-building drama games and playful acting techniques, they will strengthen their communication skills, develop stage presence, and learn to express ideas with clarity and confidence. Students will also craft their own short speech and present it in the style of a famous orator—transforming into speakers of influence for the day!
