Two workshops will be run over two days:
Every child has a story to tell — and stories have helped people understand the world for thousands of years.
In this imaginative holiday program for gifted Kindergarten to Year 1 students, children will become time-travelling storytellers as they explore how stories have been shared across different cultures and times. From ancient cave paintings and Egyptian hieroglyphs to Aboriginal Dreaming stories, puppets, picture books and performance, students will discover that stories can be told in many wonderful ways.
Through drawing, drama, puppetry, movement, discussion and creative play, students will investigate what makes a story exciting and memorable. They will explore characters, settings, problems, surprises, heroes, villains and unexpected endings — all in a playful and age-appropriate way.
This program is designed especially for young learners who love asking questions, making connections and using their imagination. Students will be encouraged to think creatively, express their ideas confidently, and choose their favourite way to bring a story to life.
By the end of the session, each child will create and share their own original story — whether as a drawing, comic strip, puppet show, mini performance or simple written tale.
A rich, creative and joyful day for young children who love ideas, imagination and storytelling.

Join us for a wonderfully hands-on chemistry adventure designed especially for curious children in Kindergarten to Year 1!
In this exciting holiday program, young learners will become “little chemists” as they explore the science of colours, bubbles, mixing and change. This is not a textbook lesson — it is a playful, practical and highly engaging introduction to chemistry, where children can observe, predict, experiment and wonder.
Students will safely mix colourful liquids, investigate what happens when different materials are combined, and watch simple reactions fizz, bubble and change before their eyes. Through age-appropriate experiments and guided discovery, they will begin to understand that science is all around us — in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the materials we use every day.
Children will explore big ideas in a simple and imaginative way: What is everything made of? Why do some things mix and others do not? What happens when we add, stir, pour or combine different materials? They will also be introduced to the idea that tiny building blocks make up the world around us, using models, pictures, movement and creative activities.
Designed for young learners, this session encourages curiosity, careful observation, questioning and imaginative thinking. Students will be supported to make predictions, describe what they notice, and share their ideas like real scientists.
A bright, joyful and hands-on introduction to chemistry for children who love to ask “why?” and “what happens if?”
